Kelly Nash was born in Davie, Florida, a suburb of Fort Lauderdale. Kelly Nash was raised boating and fishing along with her father Ed Nash. Kaitlyn Nash, and Carolyn Nash are her two sisters. Kelly Nash is of English and Irish origin. She is also Swedish. Her great-grandfather came into the United States from Portugal.



 Kelly Nash was a huge fan of the Miami Marlins since she was young. While Nash had a passion for sports at an early age, she had always hoped to be a news anchor. In 2006, Kelly Nash graduated from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina with the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Communication as well as Media Studies. After that, she graduated from Clemson with Master's degree in Youth Development Leadership in the year 2009. In exchange to cover the Sports Information Department's teams of Soccer and Baseball, she had been awarded a full athletic scholarship by the Clemson Athletic Department.



 Kelly Nash is MLB Network studio host and hosts several shows on the network like the nightly highlights program, Quick Pitch. She is also an NHL Network Studio host. She appears on the Nightly Game recap show, On The Fly. In March of 2015, she joined the MLB Network. She also began contributing to the NHL Network in 2015. The NHL Network's operations on a daily basis were based at the MLB Network headquarters.
